Waltham Windmill on Youtube

The Millwright Neil Medcalf of Traditional Millwrights Ltd from the Lincolnshire village of Farlesthorpe will hopefully start soon on removing damaged shades from all the mill sails and either repairing them or totally replacing them. To do this he will employ a hydraulic lifting platform which will be part paid for by the recent Lincolnshire Dividend Grant award of £1500.
Other outstanding work relating to the windmill that is still to be done is the painting of the cap, sails, and window frames and the tarring of the mill tower.
There will be regular news updates on the site along with photographs showing the progress. Keep visiting the Windmill web site to keep up to date.
